A social media marketing agency located in Galway, we’re on a mission to improve the Irish food industry. We work with independently run food and drink businesses around the country helping them to clearly communicate the brilliance of what they do so their customers can make better consumer choices. 

 

As a purpose-led business, we work exclusively with forward-thinking food and drink businesses that share our value of giving back to the community and protecting the environment. Conquer has raised over €5K for Cope Galway’s Homeless Service since 2020, supports Reforest Nation in their mission to plant 1 million Irish trees and are also members of Gaillimh le Gaeilge, an agency which promotes the Irish language. We're Currently Hiring:

Social Media Marketing Intern

We are super excited to share that we are seeking a talented Social Media Marketing Intern to join our small but mighty team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to ‘shadow’ the Director in the day-to-day client account management. This is a six-month paid internship. There will also be an opportunity to progress within this role for the right candidate.

 

Opportunities the internship will present:

  • Content Creation

  • Copywriting

  • Supporting the Director in the development of inclusive marketing processes

  • Opportunity to support the Director on the creation and implementation of a new digital strategy for the business

  • Liaising with clients

  • Client Account Management

  • Ad Management

 

The right candidate will have: ​

  • Excellent written, verbal and numeracy skills

  • Great communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team

  • Hard-working, can-do attitude

  • Consumer awareness - quick to understand a brand’s audience

  • Good knowledge or strong interest in the Irish food and drinks industry

 

Additional skills an advantage: 

  • Graphic Design

  • Photography & Videography

Our approach:

A collaborative approach is the key to success; communication is essential as well as ensuring our team members feel engaged and involved with the business. We believe a happy, fun and supportive work environment is key to delivering this success. We offer full time remote working with flexible hours however the ability to work 1 day per week in the office in Galway is desirable.

We Offer: 

  • €10.50 - €11.70 per hour (depending on experience)

  • 15 - 20 hours work per week
